Overview
The AKA Signum MFD is a computerized, high-sensitivity, multi-frequency metal detector engineered by AKA Intronika of Moscow, Russia. It uses AKA's patented space-harmonic filtering (SFT) technology and a distinctive 'hodograph' target-identification method, giving operators an exact graphical read on buried targets that few competing detectors can match.
An electronic unit transmits and processes signals across a 1-30 kHz range, with an automatic compensator that pushes sensitivity to roughly 65cm on a 25mm coin when paired with the 10" DD/7kHz coil. Three selectable discrimination algorithms (MSF, SSF, MM) let the operator tune the detector for iron-heavy ground, mixed terrain, or maximum all-round performance.
Dynamic and static search modes, automatic and manual ground balance with adjustable readjustment speed, hot-rock suppression, and a dedicated Turbo mode for extreme depth make the Signum suited to serious deep-search and relic-hunting work. The waterproof control housing and quick-release coil mount allow fast field changes between AKA's range of dedicated deep-search coils.
