Overview
The Gold Legend is the more affordable sibling of the Gold Vision. It uses the same light main unit and wireless handle but leaves out the 3D ground scan system, focusing instead on long-range searching and signal-based confirmation. It is a practical choice for buyers in Pakistan who want a portable locator for gold and treasure without the cost of an imaging kit.
Five systems are provided: Long Range, Free Mode, Smart Depth, Ionic and Bionic. The manufacturer rates the long-range system for a distance of 0 to 3000 m and a depth of 0 to 40 m. These are the manufacturer's stated figures and should not be read as a promise of results. The user picks one of seven soil presets, such as high mineral, rocky, sand or wet, and one of eleven target presets including gold treasure, gold ore, gold veins, silver, copper, platinum, diamond, gemstone and cavity.
The 3.5-inch TFT display, 72 MHz ARM processor and 2 GB memory run an eight-language menu that includes Arabic and Persian. A 9600 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the unit, and a 3 W speaker, vibration, LED flash and 650 nm laser help with direction and signal feedback. The Smart Sensor with coloured LEDs is used for the ionic system, and the boxed kit weighs about 3.2 kg.
