Geoground Trac Max D300

The Trac Max D300 is the cooperative model in Geoground's Trac Max series. It is built around dual-person searching, where two operators each hold a rod and walk together so their signals can confirm one another. This approach is popular with treasure-hunting partners who prefer to verify a direction from two positions before following it further. It ships with the dual-person rod set only, without single-person rods.

Like the rest of the series, it uses geophysical ground measuring and long-range locator technology. The operator can work in manual mode, picking a target, or automatic mode, and can select the soil type to suit the ground. Depth and distance are adjustable in the settings, but the official page does not publish fixed range figures, so expectations should be based on the manufacturer's guidance and field experience rather than headline numbers.

The control unit has a small 1.4-inch colour screen and links by Bluetooth to the Trac Max Android app for real-time control. An ESP32 dual-core processor at up to 240 MHz and a fast-charging 2000 mAh lithium-polymer battery keep the design small and light. The complete package, including dual-person rods and cables, weighs about 1.3 kg, and eight menu languages are available.
