Overview
The Infinity Max Pro is the most complete system in the Mega Detection range. Instead of buying a separate long-range locator, ground scanner and deep metal detector, the buyer gets twelve search systems controlled from one main unit with a 5-inch colour TFT screen. It is aimed at serious treasure hunters and survey teams who want to cover a wide area first and then confirm and pinpoint a target with several independent methods before digging.
For wide-area searching it offers automatic, controlled-frequency and manual long-range locator modes, plus ionic and bionic systems. The manufacturer rates the long-range mode for a scanning distance of up to 3000 m and depths of up to 50 m, with the automatic mode stated at up to 100 m. These figures are the manufacturer's claims. Once an area is narrowed down, the Multi Ground Scanner produces a 2D image on screen or a 3D view through the Multi Visual Analyzer Android app.
Close-range work is covered by a pulse induction system with a PS50 coil for deep metal, a Smart Detect system with PS36 and PS28 coils for gold nuggets, coins and relics near the surface, and a pin pointer that separates metal from cavities. A geophysical resistivity kit and a dedicated tunnel scan mode help locate voids, graves and underground structures. The removable 21000 mAh lithium-ion battery, 32 GB storage and 12-language menu, including Urdu, round out the package.
