Garrett Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk

The PRO-Pointer AT Z-Lynk takes Garrett's popular waterproof pinpointer and adds Z-Lynk wireless. With one press it syncs to a Z-Lynk-enabled detector or wireless headphone system, so you hear both the detector and the pinpointer in your headphones. That is especially handy when wind, traffic or surf make it hard to hear a pinpointer's own speaker. It works with both Garrett and other brands of detector, though wireless features need Z-Lynk equipment.

In use it works like the standard PRO-Pointer AT: it detects from its tip and all around its side, with audio and vibration that grow stronger near metal. Fast retune shrinks the detection zone to find a target precisely, three sensitivity levels suit different ground, and a stealth mode is available from the single button. Automatic features help conserve the 9V battery between digs.

It is fully waterproof to 20 feet (6 m) to IP68, has an LED flashlight, a ruler in inches and centimetres, a scraping blade and a lanyard loop, plus a lost-pinpointer alarm and auto power-off. It is a natural partner for Garrett's Vortex, AT Max and Axiom-style wireless setups. It is a strong upgrade for anyone already using Garrett wireless gear.
