MWF QZ 80

The QZ 80 is a conventional search-coil metal detector listed under the MWF range, and a smaller sibling of the Falke. It uses what the maker calls U-VLF ultra-accurate frequency technology combined with VLF, running at 14.5 kHz and 20 kHz, and is aimed at gold nuggets, coins, general metals and treasure. It suits users who prefer a classic swing-and-dig detector over long-range systems.

Four modes cover typical hunting styles: a focused general search mode, a treasure mode with graphical signal-strength display, a nuggets-and-coins mode for small targets, and a depth-determination mode to estimate how deep a target lies.
