Nokta Double Score

The Double Score is a mid-range all-purpose metal detector in Nokta's Score family. It offers two frequency options: simultaneous multi-frequency, which keeps the machine stable on wet sand and mineralised soil, and a single 15 kHz frequency for general coin and relic hunting. That flexibility makes it a practical one-machine choice for hobbyists who hunt different types of ground. It suits hunters who want one detector for both inland sites and the coast.

Three search modes (Park, Field and Beach) cover the most common hunting situations, and the detector reports targets on a 60-step ID scale with harmonic tones that make good and bad targets easier to tell apart by ear. Ground balance can be automatic, manual or tracking, and an adjustable iron filter and notch help reject nails and rubbish so you dig less junk.

The whole detector, including its 30 x 23 cm DD coil, is IP68 rated and can be submerged to 5 m, so shallow water and beach hunting are no problem. A built-in 3,250 mAh lithium battery runs up to around 12 hours, the shaft collapses for travel, and Bluetooth lets you pair wireless headphones. Software can be updated over USB.
