Nokta PulseDive 2-in-1 Set

The PulseDive 2-in-1 Set is a clever kit built around a single control unit that accepts two different coils. Fit the larger scuba coil and you have a compact underwater detector for divers and snorkellers; swap to the pointer coil and it becomes a pinpointer for use alongside your main detector on land or at the beach. You get two tools for the price and space of one.

Because it uses 3 kHz pulse induction rather than VLF, the PulseDive is largely unaffected by salt water and wet mineralised sand, which makes it well suited to sea diving and surf-line hunting. Sensitivity has five levels, alerts can be given in several ways, and a dive mode, rapid retune and frequency shift help it stay stable in different conditions.

The unit is rated waterproof to 60 m (200 ft), runs on a 1650 mAh lithium polymer battery that charges in about two hours, and has a built-in wireless module for compatible Nokta 2.4 GHz headphones. An LED light, lost alarm and replaceable hard-shell case are included, and the full set comes in a hard carrying case. It is a versatile kit for coastal and diving enthusiasts.
