Overview
The XP ICON is the entry point to XP's latest wireless range, launched in 2026. It uses the same Fast Multi Frequency (FMF) idea as the Deus II, running several frequencies at once, and adds the option of single 4 kHz or 14 kHz operation. The 11-inch FMF coil, telescopic Lite stem and wireless remote come ready to use, so a new hunter can switch it on and start searching straight away.
Weighing about 735 g, the ICON is easy to swing for long sessions in fields, parks or on the beach. Ground balance can be set automatically, by grab or manually, and the 28-segment notch and 25 sensitivity levels give room to grow. The sunlight-readable screen stays clear in strong light, which suits outdoor use in Pakistan's bright conditions, and the whole system is rated IP68 to 5 metres.
Because it belongs to the Deus II FMF ecosystem, the ICON can work with compatible XP coils, wireless headphones, the MI-6 pinpointer and the XP Go Terrain app for logging finds. Battery life is around 11 hours with about 3 hours to recharge. Like other XP machines it is made in France and carries a 3-year warranty, extended to 5 years when the detector is registered.
