Garrett Axiom Lite

The Axiom Lite uses the same pulse induction electronics as Garrett's full Axiom but comes in a slimmer package, so prospectors can get into PI gold hunting without paying for extra coils and accessories they may not need yet. Pulse induction copes far better than VLF with the strongly mineralised soils common on goldfields, letting the detector reach smaller and deeper nuggets.

Four customisable settings let you tune it for different ground and target sizes, and the Terra-Scan dual-channel ground balance keeps it quiet and stable as conditions change. With an optional DD-FC coil, the Iron Check feature helps spot iron trash. PWM and VCO audio choices let you pick the sound that works best for hearing faint signals. These are the same core controls found on the full Axiom.

It ships with an 11 x 7 inch mono coil, a soft carry case, a wall charger with international adapters and a coil cover. At about 1.9 kg with the mono coil it is very light for a PI machine, collapses to 63.5 cm and runs around 16 hours per charge on its built-in lithium-ion battery. The Certified version is the same detector sold by Garrett as a certified open-box unit.
