Lorenz Deepmax Z2
German-engineered pulse induction system for long-range, deep-target ground scanning.
Overview
The Lorenz Deepmax Z2 is a professional-grade pulse induction ground scanner manufactured in Germany by Lorenz Detecting Systems. Built around the company's Pulse Ground Balancing System (Pulse GBS) and Pulse Shaping Technology (PST), it is engineered for treasure hunters, archaeologists, and geologists who need dependable depth on large, deeply buried targets.
A CNC-machined anodized aluminum control housing and a simplified LC display keep the unit rugged and straightforward to operate in the field, while differential electromagnetic noise cancellation lets it work reliably near power lines and other sources of interference.
The Deepmax Z2 accepts a range of interchangeable coils, from compact 26cm DD coils for coins and gold nuggets to large 1m x 1m frame coils for long-range detection of bulk metal, cavities, and voids at extended depth.
Key features
Pulse GBS Ground Balancing
automatically compensates for mineralized and saline ground so depth and stability hold steady across changing terrain.
Pulse Shaping Technology (PST)
refines the transmitted pulse waveform to sharpen sensitivity and push detection range on large, deep targets.
Interchangeable Coil System
runs on 26cm, 35cm, 44cm and 1m x 1m frame coils so one control unit adapts from coin-sized targets to long-range bulk searches.
Differential Noise Cancellation
filters out electromagnetic interference from power lines and nearby structures for a cleaner signal in built-up areas.
Rugged Aluminum Control Housing
is CNC-machined from a single block of anodized aluminum to withstand demanding field conditions.
Multi-Channel Data Logger (Optional)
records scan data for post-survey 2D/3D mapping and metal-type analysis using Lorenz Scripter and Surfer software.
All-Condition Reliability
keeps performance stable in saltwater, highly mineralized ground, and a wide range of operating temperatures.
