Overview
The Phoenix is Mega Detection's focused ground imaging system. Rather than relying on long-range signals, it works by scanning the ground directly with the Multi Ground Scanner probe and turning the readings into a picture. This makes it a good choice for buyers who already know roughly where a target might be, such as an old house, a grave site or a suspected tunnel, and want to see what is underneath before they start excavating.
Three systems are built in: 3D Ground Scan, Live Stream and Pin Pointer. Scans can be viewed as a 3D model through the Multi Visual Analyzer app on an Android tablet or phone, where colours separate normal ground from cavities and metals. Live Stream shows ferrous, non-ferrous and cavity signals in real time as you walk, while the Pin Pointer uses a bar graph to mark the exact spot. The Vertical High Signal Transceiver adds colour-changing LEDs for quick feedback.
The main unit carries a 5-inch high-resolution TFT screen, a 1.4 GHz 64-bit ARM processor and 32 GB of storage for saving and reopening scan files. Power comes from a removable 21000 mAh lithium-ion battery with a power-saving mode, and the menu supports 12 languages including Urdu. The manufacturer describes it as able to find treasures and burials at great depth but does not publish a specific depth figure.
