Overview
The Ground Scope is MWF's imaging device. Rather than only beeping or pointing, it measures changes in the earth's electromagnetic field to find anomalies and turns the readings into pictures. It has two main modes: a live scan that gives a real-time view of the ground beneath the sensor, and a ground scan that records a grid and builds 2D and 3D images of the target area.
All results appear directly on the built-in 5-inch colour screen, so no laptop or external software is needed. The device includes target discrimination to help separate metals from cavities, oscilloscope graphics to estimate size and edges, and audio signals that accompany the visual results. Scans can be run automatically or manually. MWF rates the maximum depth at 14 m for large targets; smaller objects will be detected much shallower.
The main unit weighs about 900 g, or around 2 kg with its sensors, and the 3000 mAh battery gives up to about seven working hours. For Pakistani users who already have a locator or detector and want a picture of what lies below before digging, especially for caches, tunnels and voids, the Ground Scope is a self-contained imaging option.
