MWF MF-90

The MF-90 is the more advanced of MWF's two pinpointers, sold as a waterproof multi pinpointer. Like the MF-60, it is used after a detector signal to find the exact position of a target in the dig hole, which saves time and reduces the risk of damaging coins, relics or small gold. It is carried on the belt and used together with any main metal detector during recovery.

Dealer information highlights quick calibration, automatic tuning on all ground types, high sensitivity and discrimination for both small and large objects, and a vibration and sound alarm that changes with object size. An LED light helps when working in holes or in poor light. A manual indexed online describes the MF-90 as a locator and multi-coil metal detector, suggesting extra functions beyond the MF-60, but full details were not available to us.

It is rated IP66. One dealer quotes underwater use to 30 m, but IP66 is not a submersion rating, so confirm with the supplier before taking it underwater.
