Overview
The OKM EXP 6000 PRO+ is a fully wireless 3D ground scanning system engineered in Altenburg, Germany, for treasure hunters, archaeologists, geologists, and prospectors who need to see beneath the surface before they dig. Its interchangeable carbon-fiber probes connect via magnetic mounts and communicate with the touchscreen control unit over WiFi, eliminating trailing cables in the field.
Six operating modes cover 3D Ground Scan, Tunnel Scan, Magnetometer, Mineral Scan, Pinpointer, and Live Scan, letting a single system handle cavity detection, tunnel mapping, natural gold prospecting, and pinpointing without swapping equipment. Scan data appears on the 6.5-inch touchscreen in real time and is later reconstructed into rotatable, color-coded 2D and 3D models.
Included is a pre-configured notebook running OKM Visualizer 3D Studio Professional Edition, which reconstructs saved scans into detailed 3D models for determining the position, size, and depth of buried targets after the field session. The system's telescopic probe extends to 124 cm and, combined with the SCMI-15-D dual/hexa geophysical phase reader, is rated for detection depths down to 25 m under favorable ground conditions.
