Overview
The Fusion Professional is a one-piece 3D ground scanner from OKM that weighs about 1 kg and folds the sensor into the main body. It is aimed at treasure hunters who want real 3D imaging without carrying a heavy system. The unit has a colour touchscreen, multilingual menus and a rechargeable battery that runs for around 12 hours and recharges in about three hours.
In 3D Ground Scan mode, you walk the search area in lines while the unit records readings; the data is then shown as a 3D image where metals and cavities stand out. OKM rates the depth of this mode at up to 21 m. Live Sound turns the magnetometer into an audio tool for checking ferrous targets, and the SRIS search coil helps with metal objects closer to the surface.
Scans are sent to the included pre-configured Windows notebook over Bluetooth and analysed in Visualizer 3D Studio Standard Edition. For Pakistani buyers, the Fusion Professional is a good middle step between the entry-level Fusion Light and the Professional Plus, suiting searches for buried chests, voids, tunnels and historic objects. It is handmade in Germany with a two-year guarantee. Its small size also makes it easy to transport between sites.
