Overview
The Fusion Professional Plus is the most capable member of OKM's Fusion family. Everything is built into one slim, height-adjustable control unit of about 1 kg, with the sensor integrated rather than attached as a separate probe. This makes it easy to carry over long distances and comfortable to use on rough or hilly ground where a large frame would be awkward.
It offers three working methods. 3D Ground Scan records measurements over a field and turns them into a 3D picture; OKM rates this mode down to 25 m. Live Scan shows an instant image while walking, with the probe held either vertically or horizontally. Live Sound uses the magnetometer to give audio feedback on magnetic changes, which helps narrow down ferrous targets. Data is sent over Bluetooth 5.1.
The Plus version comes with Visualizer 3D Studio Professional Edition, a pre-configured Windows notebook and a notebook mount, so scans can be checked in the field. It suits treasure hunters searching for buried chests, metal caches, voids and tunnels, as well as archaeology work. Battery life is about 12 hours, and the unit is made in Germany with a two-year guarantee.
