OKM Rover UC

The Rover UC (Undercover) hides a 3D ground scanner inside what looks like an ordinary trekking pole. It weighs only about 500 g, folds to 67 cm and is height-adjustable, so it can be carried on long walks without drawing attention. Control comes from an Android smartwatch running the OKM app, and the handle has a small display showing charge, connection, compass heading, step count and scan progress.

There are three modes. 3D Ground Scan records measurements with manual or automatic pulse triggering and shows a 3D picture right on the watch; OKM rates detection down to 20 m. The Magnetometer looks for metallic objects in the subsurface, while the Pinpointer gives basic target identification and separates ferrous from non-ferrous metals and cavities. Feedback can be by sound, vibration or silent Bluetooth headphones.

The rechargeable battery is rated for 48 hours and charges by USB-C. Scans can be checked on the watch or a phone, or moved to the included notebook with Visualizer 3D Studio for detailed filtering.
