Overview
The PMX Gold is made by Pimax Metal Detectors, a pulse induction detector maker based in Izmir, Turkey, operating since 2005. It uses what the maker calls Developed Pulse Induction (DPI).
It has automatic ground balance, automatic timing selection, 15 levels of iron reject with DD coils, 4 noise filters and 50 noise cancel channels, a built-in speaker and settings memory. It accepts Minelab GPX series and Coiltek coils.
It suits gold prospectors and treasure hunters working highly mineralised ground who want PI depth with some iron discrimination. It is sold in Basic, Standard and Full packs that differ only in the coils included.
