The Teknetics T2 has been in production since about 2006 and is one of the brand's best-known detectors. It runs at 13 kHz, a frequency that balances depth on coins and relics with sensitivity to small gold.
It handles mineralised soil through trigger-activated FASTGRAB ground balance with a manual override, plus a continuous ground mineral readout. The 0-99 target ID and 40-point iron range help separate good targets from trash.
