XP MI-6 Pinpointer

The MI-6 is XP's premium pinpointer and the natural partner for its wireless detectors. Once a target is found with the main machine, the MI-6 helps locate it exactly in the hole, saving time and avoiding damage to coins or relics. It works at 12 kHz and can be used on its own, but its real advantage appears when it is paired with an XP ICON, DEUS II, DEUS or ORX.

When connected, the MI-6 sends its audio wirelessly to the detector's headphones, so you hear the pinpointer and detector through the same system. Sensitivity rises from 3 levels in stand-alone use to up to 50 levels when paired, and four programs become available. Audio can be set to pulse or pitch, and the LED, vibration and speaker can each be switched on or off.

A very useful feature is lost-pinpointer search mode, which helps you find the MI-6 even if it has been switched off and dropped in grass or soil. The probe is waterproof to 6 metres, 24 cm long and weighs 170 g, with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. It comes with a holster, strap and charging cable, is made in France and has a 2-year warranty.
