The Multimax and Lorenz Deepmax Z2 are not imaging systems. They are pulse-induction deep-search detectors with large frame coils, built to find big metal targets deep in rocky, mineralised ground. You get a signal, not a picture, but you also get strong ground balancing where VLF-based scanners struggle.
